Robert Abdella

I graduated from Johnstown High School in 1993 as an honor roll student and captain of the football, basketball and baseball teams. I went to Syracuse University where I majored in political science and graduated in 1997. I then went on to Albany Law School and graduated in 2000. In 2003 I married my wonderful wife, Erica and we now have two children, George and Cameron.
As a 3rd generation attorney I have certainly benefited from the experiences and wisdom of my father and grandfather, but I have also worked very hard to carve out my own name in this profession. My focus is on personal injury and criminal defense matters.
I have gone to trial and successfully defended major felony criminal cases in Fulton, Montgomery and Saratoga Counties. I also have successfully tried cases on behalf of injured plaintiffs against the most seasoned insurance company lawyers in upstate New York. In addition to helping hundreds of clients injured in car accidents, I have also focused my career on the areas of products liability, construction accidents and medical malpractice. We team up with a network of experts in the medical, vocation rehabilitation, forensic, engineering and economic fields to prepare our cases in a way that maximizes settlements for our clients.
I have developed expertise in Labor Law 240 and 241 which provides special protection for construction workers. I have successfully prosecuted products liability cases for brake failure, exploding lighters, defective charcoal, cloth winders, above ground pool decking, food products and various other pieces of industrial equipment. I have also been fortunate enough to achieve one of the few plaintiff’s medical malpractice verdicts in this area.
If you are in trouble, or you have been seriously injured through the fault of another, I am here to help.
